I had a blast making many merry crafts during the past month. I have some amazing creative, crafty friends I made some of these projects with.

Mini Christmas Trees

I had made the red and green Christmas trees out of cereal boxes and yarn years ago. This year, I wanted to add a few more trees to the “forest,” and complement the beautiful jewelry tree that I made with my crafting friends.

DIY cone Christmas Trees

I bought two foam cones and hot glued ribbon and stars to each one. Here’s my finished forest.

My daughter helped arrange them on our mantle. I made the framed ornaments several years ago. My kids picked out the white hedgehog last year.

Overall, I really like how festive it looks! It’s a fun spot in our house to decorate.

Christmas Ornament Tree Sign

My friend sent me an idea like this, and I was able to find mini ornaments at Target and the white wooden frame at Hobby Lobby. It was super fun and fast to hot glue down the ornaments. I love how it turned out!

Festive Ornament Wreath

My latest craft was this wreath. We laid out ornaments on the green wreaths and then hot glued everything into place. Here are our two finished wreaths.

Wine Cork Snowmen

Last but not least, we created these adorable snowmen. My friend found these cute hats in a Christmas clearance aisle, and they were the perfect size for these snowmen. We kept our hot glue guns busy piecing together the wine cork bodies of the snowmen. We painted the snowmen white and secured the hat and scarf. Super cute!

Making these crafts was a blast! I’m so glad to have crafting buddies to help spark our creativity and make something beautiful during the extra freezing cold winter! I’ve decided to keep up my pretty holiday decor and put away this pre-made sign.

Pre-made Let it Snow sign
No, we don’t need to Let it Snow!

We had about 15 inches of snow last week, so we are fine with taking a break from snow for awhile!

Cheers to more fun creating in 2024!
